By color coding your PDU you can help prevent human error and maximize uptime for the benefit of your data center and business. In the complex network of data centers and IT environments, managing power distribution efficiently and safely is critical. While the whiteout effect can be useful for saving electricity on lighting, they should think twice before re-investing in monochromatic PDUs, and. This method involves assigning specific colours to different power circuits, cables, and outlets, making them easier to identify and manage. As the first power cable manufacturer to offer color choices of liquid-tight conduit, PDU Cables has expanded its offering to include eleven colors for its receptacle boxes and faceplates (blue, black, red, orange, green, yellow, gray, pink, white, purple and brown).
